5. CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER(1994)
A worthy sequel that stood up to the level and matched the height of its predecessor. Directed by “Salt” famed Philip Noyce, this was Harrison Ford’s second time getting in the shoes of the CIA analyst. The Cast consisted of veterans like Willem Dafoe, Anne Archer, James Earl Jones, and Joaquim de Almeida. The movie follows Ryan chasing a drug cartel developing inside the CIA. Every secret he discovers puts his family into even deeper trouble. Viewers can feel the intense environment and action sequences from the start.
4. THE SUM OF ALL FEARS(2002)
This flick came 7’ years after Harrison Ford’s 2 part entertainer. Directed by “Sneaker” famed director Phil Alden Robinson, this version was an attempt to display a younger Jack Ryan. The movie got the image of a stereotypical Hollywood action flick with an exciting ending. Fans of the franchise miss James Greer as he got replaced by Morgan Freeman’s character William Cabot. Other cast members include Bridget Moynahan, Liev Schreiber, James Cromwell, and Ciaran Hinds.

The 1992 political thriller initiated Harrison Ford’s 2 part journey toward CIA’s favorite analyst.
